It's Okay to Be White: A Roadmap to a Positive Antiracist Li
Author Shelly Tochluk believes the current battle lines drawn around white racial identity are misleading and dangerous. She will address the problem of seemingly oppositional – and often manipulative – messaging around whiteness, drawing on themes from her forthcoming book, Being White Today: A Roadmap for a Positive Antiracist Life.

Attendees can expect to receive thought-provoking information, an opportunity for discussion and questions, and they will learn how white people can and should play an important role in the fight for a just, multi-racial democracy.

Tochluk will sign books after the discussion. Attendees may bring their copies of Witnessing Whiteness or they may pre-order her new book through Left Bank Books and receive a signed bookplate.
